Taiwan: Farmosa Group issues two thermal coal purchase tenders

Taiwan’s Formosa Plastics Group has issued two tenders seeking thermal coal cargoes for Mar-Apr’22 delivery. In the first tender, the company intends to procure 40,000 t of 5,000 kcal/kg coal for delivery at Bataan port in the Philippines. The second tender calls for 5,900 kcal/kg GAR coal to be delivered at Mailiao Port in Taiwan, but the quantity is unspecified. The due date for the tenders is 17 Jan.
