Taiwan: CSC’s Steel Sales Witness Marginal Increase in Mar’20

Taiwanese steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced its preliminary results for Mar’20. The company’s steel sales increased marginally by 1% on month-on-month basis.

The company’s carbon steel sales volume (non-consolidated basis) in Mar’20 were totaled 962,092 MT, with 69% of domestic sales. The company carbon steel sales for the month of February was recorded 952,499 MT.

Accumulated sales volume of carbon steel as of Mar’20 were totaled 2,726,578 MT, with 69% of domestic sales.

Founded in 1981, China Steel Corporation produces has an annual crude steel production of about 10 MnT. It produces a range of products including plates, bars, wire rods, hot and cold rolled coils, electrogalvanized coils, electrical steel coils, hot-dip galvanized coils and Ti/Ni-base alloy.
