Taiwan’s leading steel company, China Steel Corporation (CSC), has posted carbon steel sales at 780,776 t in Aug’21, declining to a six-month low, mainly due to subdued demand. On a monthly basis, steel sales decreased by 2.4% compared to 800,114 t in Jul. The company’s cumulative steel sales were recorded at 6.5 mn t in the Jan-Aug’21 period, as per latest reports.
