Taiwan’s leading steelmaker, China Steel Corporation has announced a price hike by 2.5% for its finished steel products for Mar’21 sales. Prices have been increased by around NTD 450-2,500/t for different steel products. Price for hot-rolled steel coil has been raised by NTD 450/t ($16). The company cited high raw material costs and the expectation of better demand from steel users in the coming term.
