China Steel Corporation (CSC) has increased its prices for HR plates, HRCs, and CRCs by TWD 300/t ($10/t) m-o-m for Jan’26 sales, while prices of hot-dip galvanised coils and electro-galvanised steel coils remained unchanged. This increase in prices is driven by rise in raw material costs and is further supported by price hikes announced by major competitors such as Baosteel.
