China Steel Corporation (CSC) has lowered list prices of flat steel products by an average 2.15%, or by up to TWD 900/t ($32/t) for Jan’22 and Q1CY’22 sales. The company decreased prices considering factors like the spread of new COVID-19 variants across the globe, port congestion issues and shortage of containers, which is unlikely to ease in the short term.
