South African coal booked at $56.3/t CFR India for December shipment
In a confirmed deal, about 75,000t S.African RB2 (5500 NAR) coal was booked at $56.25/t CFR Ganagavaram. However, today RB2 prices climbed up further to $59-60/t, CFR with discounts at $10/t. S.African coal prices are rising amid supply concerns. Portside RB2 offers are at Rs.4,600-4,700/t (ex-Gangavaram) with buyers showing resistance to increased prices.
