S.African RB2 (5500 NAR kcal/kg) portside prices remain firm at INR 6,000/t ex-Gangavaram. While, a small quantity trade is heard at INR 5,900/t, few traders are not ready to quote below INR 6,200/t. Portside prices are not getting a boost despite the index going up amid increased availability of domestic coal. Thermal coal stock at Gangavram port stands at 2.93 mn t (-0.7% w-o-w basis).
