    Steel billet prices in Tangshan, China, were stable at RMB 2,960/t ($412/t), including 13% VAT, on 17 Jul’25. Prices remained steady, supported by firm raw material tags, rising rebar futures and positive macroeconomic news. SHFE Oct’25 rebar futures rose by RMB 46/t ($6/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,152/t ($439/t) on 17 Jul’25.
