South Africa: Ferro chrome exports up over 25% m-o-m in July

South Africa’s ferro chrome exports rose by 28% to 0.35 mnt in July against 0.34 mnt in Jun’22, as per customs data. China was the leading importer at 0.17 mnt (up 25% m-o-m) followed by Mozambique at 0.09 mnt (down 6.5%). Cumulative exports increased by 27% y-o-y to 2.24 mnt In Jan-Jul’22.
