South Korea: Leading mills cut scrap procurement prices by $7/t

Major South Korean steel mills reduced their procurement prices of all grades of ferrous scrap by KRW 10,000/t ($7/t). Daehan Steel’s and YK Steel’s revised prices will be effective from 22 Oct’24, while those of Dongkuk Steel’s Pohang Plant will be applicable from 19 Oct’24.
