Pakistan: Imported scrap prices inch down in latest deals

Around 3,000-4,000 t of UK/EU-origin shredded scrap in containers was booked at $530-535/t CFR Qasim. SteelMint’s assessment for shredded scrap imports into Pakistan stands at $533/t CFR, lower by $5/t against the last week. Mills have been actively booking scrap owing to restocking needs after limited bookings seen in the past couple of weeks.
