Pakistan: Scrap import prices stable in recent deals

  • Around 3,000 t of UK/EU-origin shredded scrap in containers was booked at $540-542/t CFR Qasim recently.
  • SteelMint’s assessment for shredded scrap import prices into Pakistan stands at $543/t CFR, unchanged as against the end of last week.
  • Mills are procuring scrap on restocking needs.
