India: Imported scrap prices remain rangebound in recent deals

India’s imported scrap market has remained less active than usual. However, limited deals for heavy melting scrap (HMS) were observed, while trades for shredded material remained muted. 500 t of HMS-1 deals from the UAE were heard at $495/t CFR Nhava Sheva. Dubai-origin HMS-1 offers are at $495-500/t CFR Nhava Sheva, unchanged w-o-w.
