China: Domestic billet prices stable, rebar futures rebound
Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable at RMB 5,020/t ($777/t) for the second consecutive day on 2 Sept’21, inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s rebar futures contract for Jan’22 delivery closed today at RMB 5,273/t ($816/t), witnessing a d-o-d recovery of RMB 31/t ($5/t).
