Sweden: LKAB’s iron ore production remains largely stable in CY’20

LKAB’s iron ore production in CY’20 stood at 27.1 mn t, largely stable compared to 27.2 mn t in CY’19, mainly due to maintenance shutdowns in connection with measures to reduce the spread of Covid-19. In the Q4 CY’20, LKAB launched its future strategy that sets out the path the company will take to achieve net-zero carbon emissions from its own processes and products by CY’45.
