The world’s sixth largest iron ore exporter Sweden has exported 2.30 MnT iron ore in Jan’17, according to the trade statistics released by Sweden customs.
Iron ore exports have witnessed an increase of 16% M-o-M as it was 1.98 MnT in Dec’16. On the similar lines, Sweden iron ore exports moved up by 28% Y-o-Y as it was 1.87 MnT in Jan’16.
The non-agglomerated iron ore (lumps and fines) export in Jan’17 was registered at 0.36 MnT, down by 24% M-o-M and 23% Y-o-Y. However, the agglomerated ore (pellets and concentrates) export was registered at 1.94 MnT, up 29% both M-o-M and Y-o-Y.
