The Supreme Court's hearing to lift ban on Category B mines
in Karnataka has been postponed till Wednesday i.e. 3rd of October.
More than 40 mines are said to get clearances once the
hearing is finalized.
Earlier in September, ban on 18 Category A mines in Karnataka
were lifted who were either free of any illegality or had committed marginal
illegalities in their mining operations.
Similarly in Goa, the case of ban on mining
activities has been taken to the Supreme Court and it is expected to be heard
this Friday i.e. 5th of October.
