Due to sharp improvement in billet/ingot offers, structure market has risen sharply this week.
Small scale manufacturer have increased structure offers by INR 800-1,500/MT W-o-W for all grade across major market.
South market, especially Hyderabad has witnessed a major price hike of INR 1,500/MT this week following East and West by INR 1,000/MT.
Amid shortage of sponge and scrap led to good demand of semis and raw material, that have also increased long prices during this week.
Heavy structure offers have been increased by INR 900/MT and trade discount heard at INR 200-400/MT; at the same time light structure offers have surged by INR 600/MT W-o-W in Central India.
Billet 125×125 mm offers are increased up to INR 1,200/MT and currently hovering at the range of INR 25,450-29,500/MT.
Angle 40×40 mm are assessed in Durgapur at INR 31,750/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 31,000/MT, Mumbai at INR 32,300/MT, Raipur at INR 29,700/MT and in Hyderabad at INR 32,500/MT.
Heavy 200×75 mm channel is being offered in Durgapur at INR 31,250/MT, Ghaziabad at INR 35,100/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 31,700/MT, Mumbai at INR 33,000/MT and in Raipur at INR 30,200/MT.
Beam 200×100 mm offers are evaluated in Durgapur at INR 31,250/MT, Ghaziabad at INR 34,200/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 31,500/MT, Mumbai at INR 33,600/MT and in Raipur at INR 29,700/MT.
