Topworth Steel & Power Private Limited, Durg an integrated steel unit with structure mill capacity of 15,000 tonnes per month increased Structure prices by Rs 1,000-1,200/MT in a week's time.
Topworth majorly supplied structure to Maharashtra and Gujarat, with pan India presence. Company official says prices move up due to costlier raw material like Ingot and Billet. 200 I-Beam is offering at Rs 33,600/MT which was earlier at Rs 32,600/MT a week ago. Similarly offer for 250 Channel is at Rs 34,100/MT.
Raw material, Billet prices of Bhilai increased by Rs 1,200-1,400/MT W-o-W and Rs 3,000-3,400/MT M-o-M. Company official stated “If demand increases further prices may hike as raw material availability is low. There is lesser possibility of price fall as major plant is running in low capacity“.
In line Raipur local structure offers also move up in the range of Rs 800- 1,200/MT.
