A major price correction of INR 600/MT is reported in Mumbai for all angle, channel and beam. Light & heavy angle offers in Raipur have also corrected by INR 400/MT and hovering in the range of INR 23,100-25,300/MT.
Moreover, billet offers in a week moved down by INR 300-600/MT and currently assessed in the range of INR 19,500-23,800/MT.
It is to be noted that Durgapur based manufacturers have revised gauge parity for assessment of structure. If considered weekly price trend, offers are firm this week, however, it show change of INR 700-1,500/MT in absolute terms due to change in new gauge parity.
In Durgapur, 100×100 mm angle offers are reported at INR 26,300/MT (-700), Ahmedabad at INR 25,300/MT (0), Raipur at INR 24,800/MT (0) and Hyderabad at INR 26,800/MT (0).
While, 200×75 mm channel and 200×100 mm beam in Ghaziabad are available at INR 28,800/MT and INR 28,300/MT, registered a fall of INR 100/MT W-o-W.
The same size channel offers in Durgapur are assessed at INR 25,300/MT (-700), INR 25,500/MT (0) in Ahmedabad, INR 27,000/MT (-633) in Mumbai and INR 24,800/MT (0) in Raipur.
