SteelMint’s price assessment for sponge iron increased by INR 200-300/t (d-o-d) in Raipur (central India), however trade volumes dropped compared to yesterday. Today, a total of around 2,000 t P-DRI deals were reported at around INR 25,000/t on FoR basis from Raigarh, Odisha. On the other hand, Raipur based plants floated offers at INR 24,900-25,000/t and few bids were reported at INR 24,700-800/t exw, hence no major deals were concluded today.
