SteelMint Daily Trade Sheet – 24 Sep’22

Domestic mill scale prices fell by INR 900/t to INR 5,000/t exw-Raipur on  24 September  as against prices on 21 Sep’22. Limited deals were reported in the publishing window. Mill scale (Fe 68-70%) prices stand at INR 5,100/t DAP Kandla, down by INR 400/t against prices on 21 Sep’22. No deals were reported.

SteelMint’s daily sponge iron, CDRI index was assessed at INR 33,800/tonne (t) (+ INR 300) exw-Rourkela on 24 September, 2022. The index increased as a result of active demand and suppliers’ higher offers.

SteelMint’s daily steel billet index was assessed at INR 48,000/tonne (t) (+ INR 400), exw-Raipur, on 24 September, 2022.  The positive sentiments in the Raipur market following the rally in billet prices in the northern region lifted the index.
