SteelMint’s index for Fe 63% concentrate prices currently stands at around INR 2,950/tonne (t) exw on 19 October, down INR 100/t as against the last assessment on 15 October, 2022. Iron ore concentrate prices witnessed a downward trend this week amid a correction in pellets prices.
SteelMint’s daily steel billets index was assessed at INR 46,750/tonne (t) (=) exw-Raipur on 19 October, 2022. Buying enquiries were limited amid dull sales of finished steel products. Spot billets deals fell to 1,750 t on 19 October in Raipur as against 2,500 t on 18 October.
