Steel inventory at key Chinese mills increase significantly in late Jan- CISA data

In late-Jan’22, the steel inventory of key iron and steel enterprises in China was assessed at 13.682 mn t, an increase of 532,500 t, or 4.05%, month-on-month, according to data from the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA). Steel inventory rose 2.385 mn t, or 21.12%, compared with the same period last year.
