Steel billet, rebar prices rise in Iran amid gas shortage, high production costs

Domestic billet prices in Iran rose this week due to limited gas availability and rising production costs. Consequently, rebar prices have also increased, following the uptrend in billet prices, sources informed BigMint.

• Billet prices rose by 1,000 Rial/kg to 260,500 Rial/kg on 2 Dec’24 as against 27 Nov.
• Rebar prices increased by 3,000 Rial/kg to 309,000 Rial/kg on 2 Dec.
