Spot iron ore prices in Chinese market remained steady at $151-152/t CFR. There were few cargoes from Australia which fetched $1-2 up from previous bids.
PB fines of 61.5% Fe ( Equivalent to Indian 62% Fe) was heard concluded at 148/t CFR. Where as New man fines from Australia also concluded higher by $1/t.
Indian exporters report steelmint that vessel freight from Indian ports have gone up by $2/t on improved demand and high prices in China.
” Vessel freights have gone up by $2 as quite a few vessels are lined up on improved demand and availability of low grade of iron ore.” said an exporter based in Mumbai
