With Chinese market remaining close today, spot iron ore fines (Fe 62%) prices remain stable at USD 60.6/MT, CFR China.
On account of dragon boat festival, iron ore market in China remained closed. Thus, there was minor change in the spot iron ore prices. Fines (Fe 62%) prices fell by 0.2% to USD 60.6/MT, CFR China.
Recently it was reported that Rio Tinto – one of the world’s largest iron ore miner expects domestic steel demand in China to remain weak owing to infrastructure sector which has remained dull since a year.
