Spot Iron Ore Prices Rebound to $130/mt; Supply Position from India Critical 

Some sigh of relief for Indian iron ore exporters as prices reached $130/mt for 63.5/63 Fe cargo (CNF China).

“Unfortunately Indian exporters are not holding much cargo with them as Orissa mining authorities not issuing permits to exporters for last 20 days.

Most of the mines are closed in Goa after Shah committee has reported them operating illegal.” said an Exporter based in Kolkata.

There are hardly cargo of 5-6 vessels lying on different ports in India, he added.

There are few Australian cargoes sold 62%+  Fe sold  at $123/mt said sources.
