Iron ore prices in Spot market slips down by $5/MT to reach
all time low. Offers for Fe 63.5/63 of Indian fines fell down from $171/MT to reach $165/MT i.e. the levels seen last year in November.
Trade on the OTC iron ore market was also buoyant. Prices
continued to weaken throughout the trading hours and brokers said that prices
may have bottomed out for the moment.
“Prices are weaker again. The bidders are not stepping up
because they know they don't need to”, said a broker.
