South32 Ltd increased the offering price for its 42% grade Australian manganese ore lump to $4.47/dmtu CIF China for April shipment, a $0.17/dmtu increase. Additionally, the price for its 36% grade South African semi-carbonate lump is now at $4.1/dmtu CIF China, up by $0.25/dmtu. The price rise can be attributed to an anticipated uptick in electricity tariff by 12.74% from Apr’24 by NERSA.
