Hyundai Steel has contracted Danieli Corus to repair the bosh area of its blast furnace No.3 at Dangjin integrated steel plant. The 4,525 cubic meter furnace will be upgraded to the ‘Hoogovens’ cooling and lining design, which has the longest proven lifetime capability of approximately 20-30 years.
