South Korean steel mills have reduced scrap procurement prices by KRW 20,000/t ($14/t), effective 9 Nov’22, as per SteelDaily reports.
Dongkuk Steel has cut prices for all scrap grades for its Incheon and Pohang plants.
Meanwhile, Hwan Steel has reduced its scrap purchase prices by KRW 20,000/t for all grades.
