South Korean billet exports fall by 65% m-o-m in Aug’20

The billet exports from South Korea have witnessed a decline of 65% in Aug’20 to reach 27,756 t from 79,211 t in Jul’20. Japan, China, and Thailand stood the prominent importers of the South Korean billets. The Korean billet exports fell due to the shifting of Chinese and Thai buying towards ASEAN and Indian billets.
