South Korea: Steel billets imports drop 14% m-o-m in Oct’22

South Korea’s steel billets imports fell by 14.4% m-o-m to 69,985 t in Oct’22 compared to 81,728 t in Sep’22, as per customs data.
Japan was the leading exporter at 59,531 t in the month under review.
Total billets imports by the country rose by 4% to 1.32 mnt in Jan-Oct’22 as against 1.27 mnt in the year-ago period
