South Korea: Steel billets exports rise 58% y-o-y in CY’22

South Korea’s steel billets exports rose by 58% to 685,021 t in CY’22 from 432,348 t in the previous calendar year, as per customs data.
India and Japan were the largest importers with 119,912 t and 119,554 t respectively.
However, billets exports by the nation declined by 68% m-o-m to 86,629 t in Dec’22 from 249,395 t in the previous month.
