South Korea: Steel billets exports rise 41%, m-o-m, in Mar’22

South Korea’s steel billets exports rose significantly by 40.92% in Mar’22 to 20,069 t as against 14,242 t in Feb’22, as per data recently released by customs.
China was the largest importer with just 45 t, followed by Japan with 44 t.
However, export volumes fell sharply by 71% to 44,897 t in Jan-Mar’22 compared with 154,165 t in Jan-Mar’21.
