South Korea: SeAH Changwon Steel lifts scrap purchase prices for various grades

South Korea’s SeAH Changwon Special Steel will increase purchase prices of tin steel scrap by KRW 15,000/t ($10/t) and others by KRW 20,000/t ($14/t) from 14 Oct’22, as per a SteelDaily report.
The company raised bids for saengcheol grade scrap by KRW 15,000/t ($10/t) and other grades by KRW 20,000/t ($14/t) on 12 Oct.
Prices have been increased amid scrap shortages and better end-user demand.
