SeAH Changwon Special Steel announced a May price hike for stainless steel wire, citing the rise in LME nickel prices, as per SteelDaily. The increase, around KRW 100,000/t ($72/t), reflects the uptrend in nickel prices. As of April 29th, the average nickel price stood at $18,134/t, up $701/t compared to the previous month.
