This week in South Korea, new scrap arrivals amounted to about 75,550 t, down from 84,328 t last week, marking about 10% decline. Hyundai Steel received 46,000 t, up 2,000 t. Dongkuk Steel and SeAH Steel decreased to 7,800 t and 8,000 t, respectively. POSCO’s arrivals rose to 7,700 t from 3,500 t. YK Steel imported 2,000 t after a long gap, and Daehan Steel’s arrivals were reduced to 2 cargoes from 3 cargoes in the previous week.
