South Korea: POSCO’s cold-rolled plate sales rise on higher exports in Dec’21

South Korean steel giant POSCO reported total sales of cold-rolled plated steel products at 1.116 mn t in Dec’21, up 11% on the month on increased exports volumes. Exports accounted for 0.69 mn t marking an increase of 20% on the month and 28% year-on-year. Domestic consumption declined by 1% m-o-m and 17% y-o-y to 0.424 mn t in Dec’21.
