South Korea: POSCO to raise heavy plate prices by KRW 30,000/t ($23/t) in April

South Korean steel giant, POSCO, is planning to raise heavy plate prices by KRW 30,000/t ($23/t) in Apr’23. The hike is going to be a result of increasing manufacturing cost burden due to rising prices of raw materials like iron ore and coking coal. Other steelmakers like Hyundai Steel is likely to follow suit.
