South Korea: POSCO to cut prices of 300 series stainless steel in July

POSCO will cut the price of stainless steel 300 series by KRW 100,000/t ($78/t) and the price of imported alternative steel types by KRW 200,000/t ($155/t) in Jul’22, as per SteelDaily. POSCO has decided to cut prices of 300 series in consideration of the cost burden on customers who are suffering from delayed demand recovery and the surge in raw material prices, SteelMint understands.
