Pohang Steel (POSCO) recently announced reduction in utilization rate of its cold-rolled, hot-rolled production lines at two of its plants in Pohang and Gwangyang, with an expected production cut of 980,000 MT, South Korean media reported. It is the first production cut by POSCO since 2008 and the second since its inception.
