South Korea: POSCO plans to resume shipping by land from Pohang, Gwangyang

POSCO has decided to resume shipping by land from the Pohang and Gwangyang steelworks from today, which was suspended due to a truckers’ strike. About 300,000 t of shipments were delayed due to the strike. The wire rod and cold-rolling mill at Pohang works are set to resume from 16 Jun’22. Estimated production loss is around 36,000 t, including 23,000 t of wire rod and 13,000 t of CR steel.
