South Korea: POSCO freezes stainless steel prices for March contracts

POSCO has decided to freeze prices of both 300 and 400 stainless steels for Mar’23 in consideration of the domestic market, as per SteelDaily.
However, for 316 L steel, where prices of molybdenum has soared, the company decided to raise it by KRW 250,000 per tonne ($190/t).
From March, POSCO planned to change the price application standard for distribution customers and cold-rolled steel pipe industry customers.
