South Korean steel giant POSCO has reported crude steel output at 9.49 mn t in the third quarter CY’20, increasing 21.8% q-o-q against 7.79 mn t in Q2 CY’20. Production recovered on the restart of Gwangyang No.3 blast furnace’s operations after revamping. Crude steel production in Q3 CY’20 rebounded to the similar volume of 9.55 mn t as in Q3 CY’19.
