South Korea: Major steel mills trim scrap procurement prices by $15/t

South Korean steel companies will reduce their scrap purchase prices by KRW 20,000/t ($15/t), as per SteelDaily reports.
Dongkuk Steel, Hyundai Steel, Daehan, YK, Korea and Hwan Steel will cut prices for all of its factories from 16 Nov’22.
POSCO (for its Gyangwang and Pohang plants), SeAh Besteel, and SeAH Changwon Special Steel will reduce scrap buy prices from 17 Nov.
