South Korea: Major steel mills to raise scrap purchase prices by $15/t

South Korean steel mills are going to increase their scrap purchase prices by KRW 20,000/t ($15/t) from 20 Dec, as per SteelDaily reports.
Dongkuk Steel, YK Steel, Daehan Steel, and Korea Steel have increased prices for their plants. After consecutive cuts in previous weeks, these mills have raised their procurement prices due to increasing demand for scrap in the domestic market.
