South Korea: Major steel mills to cut scrap buy prices by $7/t

South Korea’s major steel mills announced to cut scrap buying prices by KRW 10,000/t ($7/t) from 5 Nov’22, as per SteelDaily reports.
Hyundai Steel will cut scrap buy prices for its Incheon, Dangjin, and Pohang plants.
On the other hand, Daehan Steel and YK Steel will end the special scrap purchase and reduce the scrap buy prices too.
